Capital Bruins (Helena, MT) backers left the game pleased Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Russell Rustlers (Great Falls, MT), 2-0 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Capital upgrades its record to 6-9 on the year. The Bruins host Flathead (Kalispell, MT) to play the Braves/Bravettes in a AA Western game on Saturday, May 3. The Braves/Bravettes enter the game with a record of 2-14. Flathead lost 19-2 in their recent league game against Glacier (Kalispell, MT)

The Rustlers now own a 3-11 record. They play next when they host Billings Senior for a AA Eastern game on Saturday, May 3. Russell will play a Broncs squad coming off a 6-2 league win over Billings West (Billings, MT). The Broncs record now stands at 11-3.
