April 29, 2025: Emerson, NJ 07630 St. Mary Gaels (Rutherford, NJ) backers left the game pleased Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nudge the host Emerson Cavaliers (Emerson, NJ), 7-0 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, St. Mary upgrades its record to 8-5 on the year. The Gaels travel to Saddle Brook (Saddle Brook, NJ) to play the Falcons in a non-league game on Thursday, May 1. The Falcons enter the game with a record of 7-8. Saddle Brook won 3-2 in their recent league game against Ridgefield Memorial (Ridgefield, NJ)
The Cavaliers now own a 8-5 record. They take the field next when they host Academy of the Holy Angels for a non-league bout on Wednesday, April 30. Emerson will clash with a Angels team coming off a 11-0 league loss to Immaculate Heart Academy (Washington Township, NJ). The Angels record now stands at 4-7.
