New Jersey High School Softball - Irvington drops to St. Vincent Academy
April 29, 2025: Newark, NJ 07103 St. Vincent Academy (Newark, NJ) supporters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad topple the visiting Irvington Blue Knights (Irvington, NJ), 22-7 in a league game.
With the triumph, St. Vincent Academy improves its record to 7-0 on the year. The host American History (Newark, NJ) to play the Eagles in a non-league game on Wednesday, April 30. The Eagles enter the game with a record of 4-3. American History won 12-7 in their recent non-league game against Hillside (Hillside, NJ)
The Blue Knights now hold a 4-4 record. They play next when they host Newark Tech for a non-league game on Friday, May 2. Irvington will play a Terries squad coming off a 18-3 non-league win over East Orange Campus (East Orange, NJ). The Terries record now stands at 2-6.
