April 29, 2025: Mauldin, SC 29662 In Tuesday's league match, the visiting Woodmont Wildcats softball team scored a tight 8-5 win over the Mauldin Mavericks.
The Wildcats (18-5) will now prepare for their match against Belton-Honea Path (Honea Path, SC). The Bears come into the non-league match with a 21-3 record. In their last match, Belton-Honea Path nipped Walhalla (Walhalla, SC), 15-0, in a league match.
In their next game, the Mavericks battle the Greenville Red Raiders (Greenville, SC) in a AAAAA Region 1 match, on Wednesday, April 30. Mauldin will attempt to better on its 1-14 season record. The Red Raiders come into the match with a 10-10 record after their 1-0 league loss to Hillcrest (Simpsonville, SC).
