North Central Panthers (Indianapolis, IN) fans left the game pleased Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Pike Red Devils (Indianapolis, IN), 5-3 in a league battle.

The Panthers (7-4) will now prepare for their battle against McCutcheon (Lafayette, IN). The Mavericks enter the non-league battle with a 10-4 record. In their last battle, McCutcheon held off Danville (Danville, IN), 10-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Red Devils face the Lebanon Tigers (Lebanon, IN) in a non-league battle, on Friday, May 1. Pike will attempt to upgrade on its 7-6 season record. The Tigers enter the battle with a 5-10 record after their 11-9 league loss to Harrison (West Lafayette, IN).
