The Biglerville Canners triumphed over the visiting Hanover Nighthawks softball squad by a count of 17-2 in Wednesday's league challenge.

Next, the Canners meet the Fairfield Knights (Fairfield, PA) in a York-Adams 3 challenge, on Thursday, April 30. Biglerville will attempt to upgrade on its 10-4 season record. The Knights enter the challenge with a 7-11 record after their 5-2 league win over York County Tech (York, PA).

The Nighthawks (2-13) will now prepare for their challenge against York Catholic (York, PA). The Fighting Irish enter the York-Adams 3 challenge with a 1-14 record. In their last challenge, York Catholic was routed by Bermudian Springs (York Springs, PA), 21-0, in a league challenge.
