Illinois High School Soccer - York knocks off Central
April 30, 2022: Burlington, IL 60109 York Dukes (Elmhurst, IL) supporters were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Central Rockets (Burlington, IL), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Dukes confront the Proviso West Panthers (Hillside, IL) in a West Suburban - Silver challenge, on Tuesday, May 3. York will attempt to move on its 6-6 season record. The Panthers enter the challenge with a 3-6 record after their 8-0 non-league loss to Fenwick (Oak Park, IL).
The Rockets now possess a 3-11 record. They take the field next when they host Crystal Lake Central for a Fox Valley challenge on Tuesday, May 3. Central will confront a Tigers team coming off a 5-0 league win over Crystal Lake South (Crystal Lake, IL). The Tigers record now stands at 10-2.
