New York High School Softball - Hamburg loses to Iroquois
April 30, 2022: Elma, NY 14059 The Iroquois Chiefs softball team scored 9 runs and limited the visiting Hamburg Bulldogs to 1 in the Chiefs non-league triumph on Saturday.
With the triumph, Iroquois improves its record to 2-0 on the year. The Chiefs travel to Amherst Central (Amherst, NY) to clash with the Tigers in a Section 6 Erie County II game on Wednesday, May 11. The Tigers come into the game with a record of 0-8.
In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Nichols Vikings (Buffalo, NY) in a non-league game, on Saturday, April 30. Hamburg will attempt to improve on its 2-8 season record. The Vikings come into the game with a 1-1 record after their 5-4 league win over Mount St. Mary Academy (Kenmore, NY).
