Illinois High School Softball - Kankakee can't get by Manteno
April 30, 2022: Manteno, IL 60950 The Manteno Panthers softball team scored 3 runs and limited the visiting Kankakee Kays to 2 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Saturday.
With the triumph, Manteno moves its record to 14-2 on the year. The Panthers host Peotone (Peotone, IL) to play the Blue Devils in a Illinois Central Eight game on Monday, May 2. The Blue Devils come into the game with a record of 8-11. Peotone lost 16-9 in their recent non-league game against Illiana Christian (Dyer, IN)
In their next game, the Kays play the Thornwood Thunderbirds (South Holland, IL) in a SICA - South game, on Monday, May 2. Kankakee will attempt to move on its 2-4 season record.
