Liberty Christian Lions (Anderson, IN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Traders Point Christian Knights (Whitestown, IN), 5-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Lions now own a 4-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Muncie Central for a non-league challenge on Monday, May 9.

With the loss, Traders Point Christian falls to 1-4 on the campaign. The Knights host North Vermillion (Cayuga, IN) to battle the Falcons in a non-league challenge on Monday, May 2. The Falcons enter the challenge with a record of 6-7.
