April 30, 2024: Peoria, IL 61614 Peoria Notre Dame Irish (Peoria, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Champaign Central Maroons (Champaign, IL), 8-6 in a league test.
With the win, Peoria Notre Dame upgrades its record to 15-5 on the season. The Irish travel to Normal West (Normal, IL) to clash with the Wildcats in a Big Twelve match on Wednesday, May 1. The Wildcats go into the match with a record of 13-11. Normal West lost 5-0 in their recent league match against Peoria Notre Dame (Peoria, IL)
The Maroons (13-12) will now prepare for their match against Bloomington (Bloomington, IL). The Purple Raiders go into the Big Twelve match with a 14-8 record. In their last match, Bloomington tipped Champaign Central (Champaign, IL), 10-7, in a league match.
