In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the Platt Panthers (Meriden, CT) baseball squad triumphed over the visiting Shepaug Valley Spartans (Washington, CT), by a final score of 9-1.

With the win, Platt upgrades its record to 6-4 on the season. The Panthers host Maloney (Meriden, CT) to battle the Spartans in a Central Connecticut - South challenge on Wednesday, May 1. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 5-5. Maloney lost 4-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Hall (West Hartford, CT)
