Union Bears (Big Stone Gap, VA) followers went home happy Tuesday as they saw their soccer squad triumph over the visiting Central Wise Warriors (Norton, VA), 8-3 in a league test.

The Bears now sport a 6-2 record. They play next when they host Gate City for a Mountain 7 test on Thursday, May 2. Union will encounter a Blue Devils squad coming off a 7-0 league win over Ridgeview (Clintwood, VA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 12-1.

With the loss, Central Wise drops to 7-7 on the season. The Warriors travel to John Battle (Bristol, VA) to encounter the Trojans in a Mountain 7 test on Thursday, May 2.
