Tennessee High School Soccer - Roane County knocks off Rockwood
April 30, 2024: Kingston, TN 37763 Roane County Yellowjackets (Kingston, TN) fans were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Rockwood Tigers (Rockwood, TN), 7-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Yellowjackets confront the William Blount Governors (Maryville, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, May 2. Roane County will attempt to better on its 12-1 season record. The Governors enter the challenge with a 9-7 record after their 6-1 non-league win over Anderson County (Clinton, TN).
The Tigers now have a 4-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rhea County for a non-league challenge on Friday, May 3. Rockwood will confront a Golden Eagles team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Red Bank (Chattanooga, TN). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 8-7.
