Alabama High School Softball - Winfield gets by Colbert Heights
April 30, 2024: Winfield, AL 35594 Spectators at Tuesday's non-league match between the Winfield Pirates (Winfield, AL) and the visiting Colbert Heights Wildcats (Tuscumbia, AL), witnessed Winfield's softball squad tip Colbert Heights by a count of 2-1.
The Pirates now sport a 34-6 record.
With the loss, Colbert Heights moves to 27-12 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Madison Academy (Madison, AL) to meet the Mustangs in a non-league match on Wednesday, May 8. The Mustangs go into the match with a record of 27-3. Madison Academy won 13-2 in their recent non-league match against Danville (Danville, AL)
