April 30, 2024: Baltimore, MD 21229 Spectators at Tuesday's non-league match between the Lake Clifton Lakers (Baltimore, MD) and the host Edmondson-Westside Red Storm (Baltimore, MD), witnessed Lake Clifton's softball squad prevail over Edmondson-Westside by a count of 14-4.
The Lakers now sport a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to Forest Park for a non-league match on Thursday, May 2. Lake Clifton will meet a Foresters squad coming off a 29-7 league loss to City College (Baltimore, MD). The Foresters record now stands at 1-9.
With the loss, Edmondson-Westside moves to 5-4 on the season. The Red storm travel to City College (Baltimore, MD) to meet the Black Knights in a Baltimore City Division I match on Monday, May 6. The Black Knights go into the match with a record of 7-4. City College lost 19-1 in their recent non-league match against Glen Burnie (Glen Burnie, MD)
