April 30, 2024: Willow Springs, MO 65793 Fair Grove Eagles (Fair Grove, MO) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Willow Springs Bears (Willow Springs, MO), 17-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Eagles now own a 18-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Buffalo for a Class 2 District 7 challenge on Friday, May 3. Fair Grove will battle a Bison squad coming off a 17-2 league win over Pleasant Hope (Pleasant Hope, MO). The Bison record now stands at 15-11.
With the loss, Willow Springs falls to 18-6 on the campaign. The Bears host Plato (Plato, MO) to battle the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 2. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 18-8. Plato won 6-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Houston (Houston, MO)
