Virginia High School Softball - Matoaca bounces Meadowbrook
April 30, 2024: Richmond, VA 23234 The Matoaca Warriors routed the host Meadowbrook Monarchs softball squad by a count of 12-0 in Tuesday's league battle.
The Warriors (13-1) will now prepare for their battle against Petersburg (Petersburg, VA). The Crimson Wave go into the Central battle with a 2-4 record. In their last battle, Petersburg was routed by Prince George (Prince George, VA), 1-0, in a league battle.
The Monarchs now sport a 0-14 record. They play next when they travel to Hopewell for a Central battle on Thursday, May 2. Meadowbrook will meet a Blue Devils squad coming off a 19-8 league loss to Colonial Heights (Colonial Heights, VA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 3-11.
