Nevada High School Softball - Pershing County bounces Silver Stage

April 30, 2024: Silver Springs, NV 89429

Pershing County Mustangs (Lovelock, NV) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Silver Stage Nighthawks (Silver Springs, NV), 36-19 in a league challenge.

The Mustangs now own a 21-0 record. They take the field next when they host Silver Stage for a 2A- Northern challenge on Saturday, May 4. Pershing County will battle a Nighthawks squad coming off a 14-3 league loss to Oasis Academy (Fallon, NV). The Nighthawks record now stands at 6-13.

With the loss, Silver Stage falls to 6-12 on the campaign. The Nighthawks host Oasis Academy (Fallon, NV) to battle the Bighorns in a 2A- Northern challenge on Thursday, May 2. The Bighorns enter the challenge with a record of 19-5. Oasis Academy won 1-0 in their recent league challenge against West Wendover (West Wendover, NV)
