Indiana High School Softball - Union County bounces Tri

The Union County Patriots routed the host Tri Titans softball squad by a final score of 7-1 in Tuesday's league battle.

The Patriots (8-7) will now prepare for their battle against Eastern Hancock (Charlottesville, IN). The Royals go into the non-league battle with a 13-1 record. In their last battle, Eastern Hancock held off Frankton (Frankton, IN), 3-0, in a non-league battle.

The Titans now possess a 7-6 record. They play next when they travel to Cambridge City Lincoln for a Tri-Eastern battle on Friday, May 3. Tri will meet a Golden Eagles squad coming off a 7-2 league loss to Hagerstown (Hagerstown, IN). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 5-8.
