Virginia High School Baseball - Woodson sneaks past Annandale
April 30, 2025: Fairfax, VA 22031 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Woodson Cavaliers (Fairfax, VA) and the visiting Annandale Atoms (Annandale, VA), saw Woodson's baseball team get by Annandale by a tally of 4-3.
The Cavaliers (6-11) will now prepare for their battle against West Springfield (Springfield, VA). The Spartans enter the Patriot battle with a 16-2 record. In their last battle, West Springfield held off West Potomac (Alexandria, VA), 10-2, in a league battle.
Next, the Atoms face the Thomas Jefferson Science & Technology Colonials (Alexandria, VA) in a National test, on Friday, May 2. Annandale will attempt to better on its 3-12 season record. The Colonials go into the test with a 4-6 record after their 11-1 league loss to Hayfield (Alexandria, VA).
