The Maynard Tigers baseball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting Ayer Shirley Panthers to 0 in the Tigers league win on Wednesday.

The Tigers now hold a 9-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to West Boylston for a Midland-Wachusett D test on Friday, May 2. Maynard will play a Lions team coming off a 17-2 non-league win over Murdock (Winchendon, MA). The Lions record now stands at 6-4.

With the defeat, Ayer Shirley drops to 3-7 on the year. The Panthers travel to Bromfield (Harvard, MA) to play the Trojans in a Midland-Wachusett D test on Monday, May 5.
