April 30, 2025: Ashland, KY 41102 The Blazer Tomcats (Ashland, KY) baseball got by the visiting Huntington Highlanders (Huntington, WV), 6-5 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.
The Tomcats now own a 8-14 record. They take the field next when they host East Carter for a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 1. Blazer will clash with a Raiders team coming off a 5-4 non-league loss to Boyd County (Ashland, KY). The Raiders record now stands at 15-9.
With the defeat, Huntington drops to 6-12 on the year. The Highlanders travel to Greenup County (Greenup, KY) to clash with the Musketeers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 1. The Musketeers go into the challenge with a record of 13-12.
