In Wednesday's non-league bout, the Pittston Patriots (Pittston, PA) baseball squad the visiting Holy Redeemer Royals (Wilkes-Barre, PA), by a score of 6-1.

Next up, the Patriots encounter the Berwick Bulldogs (Berwick, PA) in a Wyoming Valley 1 bout, on Thursday, May 1. Pittston will attempt to advance on its 16-0 season record. The Bulldogs enter the bout with a 2-12 record after their 8-0 league loss to Dallas (Dallas, PA).
