Illinois High School Baseball - Lakes held off by St. Patrick
April 30, 2025: Lake Villa, IL 60046 St. Patrick Shamrocks (Chicago, IL) followers left the game pleased Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Lakes Eagles (Lake Villa, IL), 6-4 in a non-league match.
With the triumph, St. Patrick moves its record to 13-7 on the season. The Shamrocks travel to Joliet Catholic (Joliet, IL) to battle the Hilltoppers in a East Suburban Catholic match on Saturday, May 3. The Hilltoppers come into the match with a record of 10-10. Joliet Catholic lost 2-1 in their recent league match against Nazareth Academy (LaGrange Park, IL)
The Eagles now possess a 15-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lake Forest for a non-league match on Friday, May 2. Lakes will battle a Scouts squad coming off a 3-2 league win over Stevenson (Lincolnshire, IL). The Scouts record now stands at 9-12.
