The Leechburg Blue Devils baseball team scored 12 runs and held the host River Valley Panthers to 2 in the Blue Devils non-league win on Wednesday.

The Blue Devils now own a 13-2 record. They take the field next when they host Summit Academy for a WPIAL 1A 2 test on Monday, May 5.

With the defeat, River Valley drops to 5-11 on the year. The Panthers host Penns Manor (Clymer, PA) to play the Comets in a Heritage test on Friday, May 2. The Comets go into the test with a record of 2-11. Penns Manor lost 5-3 in their recent league test against River Valley (Blairsville, PA)
