Minnesota High School Baseball - Mankato East defeats Mayo
April 30, 2025: Mankato, MN 56001 The Mankato East Cougars (Mankato, MN) baseball trounced the visiting Mayo Spartans (Rochester, MN), 6-0 in Wednesday's league test.
The Cougars now own a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they host Owatonna for a Big 9 test on Thursday, May 1. Mankato East will play a Huskies team coming off a 7-6 league loss to Mayo (Rochester, MN). The Huskies record now stands at 8-2.
With the defeat, Mayo drops to 7-4 on the year. The Spartans travel to John Marshall (Rochester, MN) to play the Rockets in a Big 9 test on Thursday, May 1. The Rockets go into the test with a record of 4-6. John Marshall lost 4-1 in their recent league test against Century (Rochester, MN)
