New York High School Baseball - St. Edmund Prep loses to St. John's Prep
April 30, 2025: Brooklyn, NY 11229 St. John's Prep Red Storm (Astoria, NY) backers went home content Wednesday as they witnessed their baseball team knock off the host St. Edmund Prep Eagles (Brooklyn, NY), 15-2 in a league challenge.
The Red Storm now own a 13-6 record. They take the field next when they host St. John the Baptist for a Catholic Nassau Suffolk challenge on Saturday, May 3. St. John's Prep will clash with a Cougars team coming off a 11-1 league win over St. Anthony's (Melville, NY). The Cougars record now stands at 6-8.
With the defeat, St. Edmund Prep drops to 1-12 on the year. The Eagles host Archbishop Molloy (Queens, NY) to clash with the Stanners in a Catholic AA - Brooklyn/Queens challenge on Friday, May 2. The Stanners go into the challenge with a record of 19-5. Archbishop Molloy won 5-2 in their recent league challenge against St. Francis Prep (Fresh Meadows, NY)
