In Wednesday's non-league game, the host Northgate Broncos baseball team scored a close 8-3 victory over the Miramonte Matadors.

The Broncos (11-6) will now prepare for their game against De La Salle (Concord, CA). The Spartans enter the non-league game with a 17-4 record. In their last game, De La Salle was overwhelmed by Granada (Livermore, CA), 7-5, in a league game.
