Virginia High School Soccer - West Springfield knocks off Westfield
April 30, 2025: Springfield, VA 22152 Fans at Wednesday's non-league battle between the West Springfield Spartans (Springfield, VA) and the visiting Westfield Bulldogs (Chantilly, VA), saw West Springfield's soccer squad prevail over Westfield by a count of 5-1.
The Spartans (8-0) will now prepare for their battle against South County (Lorton, VA). The Stallions enter the non-league battle with a 3-3 record. In their last battle, South County tipped McLean (McLean, VA), 1-0, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Bulldogs battle the James Madison Warhawks (Vienna, VA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, May 2. Westfield will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Warhawks enter the battle with a 5-4 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Oakton (Vienna, VA).
