In Wednesday's non-league test, the Lake Central Indians (St. John, IN) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Hanover Central Wildcats (Cedar Lake, IN), by a count of 11-0.

Next, the Indians meet the Harrison Raiders (West Lafayette, IN) in a non-league test, on Friday, May 2. Lake Central will attempt to upgrade on its 11-2 season record. The Raiders go into the test with a 9-2 record after their 14-1 non-league win over Zionsville (Zionsville, IN).

The Wildcats (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Portage (Portage, IN). The Indians go into the non-league test with a 3-4 record.
