In Wednesday's non-league contest, the host Lake Norman Wildcats lacrosse squad scored a good 13-2 win over the Cannon Cougars.

The Wildcats (15-4) will now prepare for their contest against South Iredell (Statesville, NC). The Vikings enter the Greater Metro/Queen City contest with a 0-15 record. In their last contest, South Iredell was overwhelmed by Bradford Prep (Charlotte, NC), 20-1, in a non-league contest.
