April 30, 2025: Toms River, NJ 08753 Fans at Wednesday's non-league test between the Toms River North Mariners (Toms River, NJ) and the visiting Neptune Scarlet Fliers (Neptune, NJ), witnessed Toms River North's lacrosse squad top Neptune by a count of 14-1.
The Mariners (7-4) will now prepare for their test against Ocean Township (Oakhurst, NJ). The Spartans enter the non-league test with a 6-4 record. In their last test, Ocean Township thwarted Toms River South (Toms River, NJ), 7-6, in a league test.
Next, the Scarlet Fliers battle the J.P. Stevens Hawks (Edison, NJ) in a non-league test, on Friday, May 2. Neptune will attempt to move on its 4-7 season record. The Hawks enter the test with a 0-9 record after their 7-3 non-league loss to Weehawken (Weehawken, NJ).
