New York High School Softball - Cornwall Central bounces Monticello

In Wednesday's league match, the visiting Cornwall Central Dragons softball team scored a nice 21-2 win over the Monticello Panthers.

The Dragons (3-6) will now prepare for their match against Kingston (Kingston, NY). The Tigers come into the non-league match with a 6-6 record. In their last match, Kingston notched a victory over Monroe-Woodbury (Central Valley, NY), 9-5, in a league match.

In their next game, the Panthers battle the Goshen Central Gladiators (Goshen, NY) in a Orange County Division II match, on Friday, May 2. Monticello will attempt to better on its 0-7 season record. The Gladiators come into the match with a 5-2 record after their 10-3 league loss to Minisink Valley (Slate Hill, NY).
