April 30, 2025: Baltimore, MD 21213 Douglass Mighty Ducks (Baltimore, MD) supporters left the game pleased Wednesday as they saw their softball squad thwart the host Lake Clifton Lakers (Baltimore, MD), 17-6 in a league game.
With the triumph, Douglass improves its record to 2-5 on the year. The Mighty Ducks host Southwestern (Baltimore, MD) to play the Sabers in a Baltimore City Division II game on Friday, May 2. The Sabers enter the game with a record of 3-3. Southwestern lost 15-7 in their recent non-league game against Academy for College and Career Exploration (Baltimore, MD)
The Lakers now hold a 0-5 record. They play next when they travel to Mergenthaler Vo-Tech for a non-league game on Friday, May 2.
