New Jersey High School Softball - McNair Academic sneaks past Ferris
April 30, 2025: Jersey City, NJ 07302 The McNair Academic Cougars (Jersey City, NJ) softball nipped the host Ferris Bulldogs (Jersey City, NJ), 9-8 in Wednesday's league outing.
The Cougars now sport a 12-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to University Academy Charter for a HCIAL - National outing on Thursday, May 1. McNair Academic will encounter a Generals team coming off a 26-6 league loss to Snyder (Jersey City, NJ). The Generals record now stands at 1-9.
With the loss, Ferris moves to 9-4 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Dickinson (Jersey City, NJ) to encounter the Rams in a HCIAL - National outing on Friday, May 2. The Rams come into the outing with a record of 3-8. Dickinson won 28-9 in their recent league outing against Lincoln (Jersey City, NJ)
