The North Point Eagles softball team scored 13 runs and held the host Great Mills Hornets to 0 in the Eagles league win on Wednesday.

The Eagles now sport a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Charles for a Southern Maryland battle on Thursday, May 1. North Point will confront a team coming off a 13-1 league loss to Patuxent (Lusby, MD). The record now stands at 1-11.

With the loss, Great Mills moves to 4-13 on the season. The Hornets travel to La Plata (La Plata, MD) to confront the Warriors in a Southern Maryland battle on Friday, May 2. The Warriors come into the battle with a record of 9-7. La Plata lost 6-5 in their recent league battle against Northern (Owings, MD)
