In Wednesday's non-league match, the visiting Pe Ell/Willapa Valley softball team scored a nice 19-6 victory over the Hoquiam Grizzlies.

The (13-3) will now prepare for their match against Elma (Elma, WA). The Eagles go into the non-league match with a 9-6 record. In their last match, Elma was routed by College Place (College Place, WA), 13-8, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Grizzlies battle the Tenino Beavers (Tenino, WA) in a 1A Evergreen match, on Thursday, May 1. Hoquiam will attempt to better on its 3-13 season record. The Beavers go into the match with a 0-13 record after their 13-4 league loss to Hoquiam (Hoquiam, WA).
