In Wednesday's non-league match, the host Shaler Area Titans softball team scored a nice 10-0 win over the Mars Fightin' Planets.

The Titans (8-4) will now prepare for their match against New Castle (New Castle, PA). The Hurricanes come into the non-league match with a 8-9 record. In their last match, New Castle was routed by Plum (Pittsburgh, PA), 12-10, in a league match.
