Minnesota High School Softball - Mound-Westonka sneaks past Zimmerman
April 30, 2025: Mound, MN 55364 The Mound-Westonka White Hawks (Mound, MN) softball nipped the visiting Zimmerman Thunder (Zimmerman, MN), 6-5 in Wednesday's non-league outing.
The White Hawks now sport a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jordan for a Wright County outing on Thursday, May 1. Mound-Westonka will encounter a Hubmen / Jaguars team coming off a 4-2 league win over Holy Family Catholic (Victoria, MN). The Hubmen / Jaguars record now stands at 2-4.
With the loss, Zimmerman moves to 1-7 on the season. The Thunder host Monticello (Monticello, MN) to encounter the Magic in a Mississippi 8 outing on Thursday, May 1. The Magic come into the outing with a record of 1-10. Monticello lost 10-3 in their recent league outing against St. Francis (St. Francis, MN)
