West Virginia High School Softball - Van drops to Tug Valley
April 30, 2025: Van, WV 25206 Tug Valley Panthers (Williamson, WV) supporters left the game thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad topple the host Van Bulldogs (Van, WV), 13-0 in a league game.
With the triumph, Tug Valley improves its record to 17-9 on the year. The Panthers travel to Shelby Valley (Pikeville, KY) to face the Wildcats in a non-league game on Thursday, May 1. The Wildcats enter the game with a record of 7-12. Shelby Valley won 13-4 in their recent league game against East Ridge (Lick Creek, KY)
The Bulldogs now hold a 3-19 record. They play next when they host Sherman for a game on Thursday, May 1. Van will face a Tide squad coming off a 14-9 non-league win over Greenbrier West (Charmco, WV). The Tide record now stands at 12-8.
