The Waconia Wildcats baseball team scored 6 runs and held the host Chaska Hawks to 3 in the Wildcats non-league win on Thursday.

The Wildcats now hold a 6-4 record. They take the field next when they host New Prague for a Wright County - East test on Friday, May 1. Waconia will play a Trojans team coming off a 6-3 non-league win over Jefferson (Bloomington, MN). The Trojans record now stands at 7-1.

With the defeat, Chaska drops to 5-2 on the year. The Hawks travel to Delano (Delano, MN) to play the Tigers in a non-league test on Saturday, May 2. The Tigers go into the test with a record of 8-0. Delano won 7-2 in their recent league test against Southwest Christian (Chaska, MN)
