California High School Baseball - Fowler edges Torres

In Thursday's non-league game, the visiting Fowler Redcats baseball team scored a close 3-1 win over the Torres Toros.

The Redcats (8-15) will now prepare for their game against Kingsburg (Kingsburg, CA). The Vikings go into the non-league game with a 18-6 record. In their last game, Kingsburg nudged Central Valley Christian (Visalia, CA), 10-0, in a league game.

Next, the Toros play the Central Grizzlies (Fresno, CA) in a North Yosemite game, on Friday, May 1. Torres will attempt to improve on its 10-15 season record. The Grizzlies go into the game with a 5-12 record after their 3-2 league loss to Torres (Madera, CA).
