In Thursday's league bout, the Montgomery County Indians (Mt. Sterling, KY) baseball squad overwhelmed the host Paris Greyhounds (Paris, KY), by a tally of 17-1.

Next up, the Indians encounter the Mason County Royals (Maysville, KY) in a non-league bout, on Friday, May 1. Montgomery County will attempt to upgrade on its 21-6 season record.

The Greyhounds (10-15) will now prepare for their bout against Dayton (Dayton, KY). The Greendevils enter the non-league bout with a 3-24 record. In their last bout, Dayton achieved victory over Ludlow (Ludlow, KY), 6-2, in a non-league bout.
