The Albany Falcons softball team scored 8 runs and held the host Cohoes Tigers to 5 in the Falcons non-league win on Thursday.

The Falcons now sport a 5-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bethlehem Central for a Section 2 Suburban - Blue battle on Friday, May 1. Albany will confront a Eagles team coming off a 5-4 league win over Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake (Burnt Hills, NY). The Eagles record now stands at 7-4.

With the loss, Cohoes moves to 4-8 on the season. The Tigers host La Salle Institute (Troy, NY) to confront the Cadets in a Section 2 Colonial battle on Friday, May 1.
