In Thursday's non-league test, the Berne Union Rockets (Sugar Grove, OH) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Centennial Stars (Columbus, OH), by a tally of 22-5.

Next, the Rockets clash with the Millersport Lakers (Millersport, OH) in a Mid-State - Cardinal test, on Monday, May 4. Berne Union will attempt to advance on its 11-5 season record. The Lakers go into the test with a 11-6 record after their 12-9 non-league win over Whetstone (Columbus, OH).

The Stars (11-5) will now prepare for their test against Bishop Hartley (Columbus, OH). The Hawks go into the non-league test with a 8-7 record. In their last test, Bishop Hartley was routed by Bishop Watterson (Columbus, OH), 7-6, in a league test.
