In Thursday's non-league test, the Windham Whippets (Willimantic, CT) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Parish Hill Pirates (Chaplin, CT), by a tally of 14-5.

Next, the Whippets meet the Ellis RVT Eagles (Killingly, CT) in a non-league test, on Friday, May 1. Windham will attempt to advance on its 3-6 season record. The Eagles go into the test with a 0-10 record after their 14-4 league loss to Vinal RVT (Middletown, CT).
