Illinois High School Softball - Palatine bounces Cary-Grove
May 1, 2021: Palatine, IL 60074 The Palatine Pirates (Palatine, IL) softball routed the visiting Cary-Grove Trojans (Cary, IL), 20-5 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Pirates (7-4) will now prepare for their bout against Barrington (Barrington, IL). The Broncos go into the Mid-Suburban West bout with a 15-0 record. In their last bout, Barrington toppled Sandburg (Orland Park, IL), 10-0, in a non-league bout.
The Trojans now possess a 1-6 record. They play next when they host Hampshire for a Fox Valley bout on Monday, May 3. Cary-Grove will confront a Whip-Purs squad coming off a 15-0 non-league loss to St. Charles East (St. Charles, IL). The Whip-Purs record now stands at 0-5.
