In Saturday's non-league contest, the Tri Titans (Straughn, IN) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Morristown Yellow Jackets (Morristown, IN), by a margin of 17-1.

With the triumph, Tri moves its record to 10-4 on the year. The Titans host Winchester Community (Winchester, IN) to play the Golden Falcons in a Tri-Eastern contest on Monday, May 3. The Golden Falcons come into the contest with a record of 4-5. Winchester Community lost 8-3 in their recent non-league contest against Lapel (Lapel, IN)

In their next game, the Yellow Jackets play the South Decatur Cougars (Greensburg, IN) in a Mid-Hoosier contest, on Tuesday, May 4. Morristown will attempt to move on its 2-11 season record. The Cougars come into the contest with a 3-10 record after their 11-8 league loss to Waldron (Waldron, IN).
