Triton Regional Vikings (Byfield, MA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Masconomet Regional Chieftains (Boxford, MA), 3-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, Triton Regional upgrades its record to 7-2 on the season. The Vikings travel to Georgetown (Georgetown, MA) to battle the Royals in a non-league test on Thursday, May 4. The Royals come into the test with a record of 6-1.

With the defeat, Masconomet Regional falls to 9-1 on the season. The Chieftains host Hamilton-Wenham Regional (South Hamilton, MA) to battle the Generals in a non-league test on Friday, May 5. The Generals come into the test with a record of 4-2.
